*This week's
comiXology column is an odd one, I admit. It's ostensibly a review of
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, with added thoughts on
Blackest Night, but conceived as a tribute to the late John Hughes, hence the youthful angst,
Beethoven jokes, bonding between unlikely friends and (sorry!) a rather sentimental denouement.
And yeah, you'll see what I mean, but let's not forget this lil' critter:
